I love Karkat's voice, but he's so freaking hard to write; I am beyond delighted that it all worked for you here. He is such a kid, and he's so smart and so dumb. And I think he and Rose could have amazing conversations, if canon would let them talk more. If I'd started this a bit later, the frame would probably have been Karkat explaining that romance novel to Rose, because what a brilliant point of connection that would be to explore.
Holy shit, yes, this is great.
