And the thing is that I'm really invested in Tavros and Vriska's fictional terrible relationship, even though it is so awful and in every other way I would really like for Tavros to just get a break some time /o\ So from a readerly rather than a human perspective, if ashen quadrant gives them a way out of the abuse that doesn't necessitate breaking them up, that's incredibly appealing.
